Geometry makes the track

Engineering and construction of railroad tracks are liable to a complex of rules with last but not least the definition of the geometric restrictions.

It starts with surveying of the existing inventory in a homogeneous coordinate system (DB_REF). Beside of the track geometry have all existing buildings, objects and survey points to be mapped, which could possibly influence the project.

Next is the calculation of the new track with the geometrical exact definition of track and switch axes (horizontal and vertical position in a 7-lines-model).

The results are submitted as verifiable blueprints for geometric control. After verification final drawings with all geometric data of the track will be prepared.
