3-dimensional scanning
The measurement and drawing of objects is increasingly done by laserscanning. E.g. buildings are scanned point by point, creating a so called point cloud. All recorded points are converted into 3-dimensional coordinates relative to the instrument position. Modern Laserscanners achieve an accuracy of approx. 1mm.
Giftge Consult uses laserscanning for 3D recording of deformations and damages of buildings and tunnels and as well for spatial views of complex structures in the pipeline and and plant construction.
