In June 2009 died completely unexpected our friend Jens Rückbrodt, co-partner of Giftge Consult. Engineer Mary Heise is temporary assigned as managing director of the Giftge Ingenieurgesellschaft in Zerbst
2007
Giftge Consult and IPN-Engineering exhibit at the Hannover Messe
2006

Giftge Consult GmbH acquired SCC** certification.
2004
Outsorcing of the Sachsen-Anhalt office to Giftge Ingenieurgesellschaft mbH with Engineer Jens Rückbrodt as managing director.
2003
Engineer Olaf Kasten replaced Jens Rückbrodt in the management team.
Opening of a new branch office in Hanau (Hessen).
2002
Walter Giftge retired from business and the engineers Peter Nispel and Jens Rückbrodt took command.
Another branch office has been set up in Oberhausen (NRW).
2001
Since 1998 Giftge & Herbst implemented extensive planning and monitoring tasks for fibre-optic telecommunication projects. The further diversification led to the spin-off of Giftge Consult GmbH with the main focus on consulting, engineering, monitoring and surveying.
1996
Winfried Herbst leaves the company and retires.
1992
Following the reunification of Germany it was a great challenge to build a new infrastructure within the former communist areas. Complex planning and construction opportunities offered the chance to expand our activities to Sachsen-Anhalt. Giftge & Herbst established a branch office in Zerbst.
1979
Walter Giftge and Winfried Herbst, both experienced engineers, founded 'Giftge & Herbst Ingenieurgesellschaft'. Based on their competence and contacts as employees of a renowned engineering firm, they succeeded to establish the company at the market. The commitment of the expanding staff contributed to the good relationship to the clients. Soon the company has been accepted as reliable partners.
